My name is Elizabeth Fraser & I am a painter from Portland, Maine. I started doing 8 square paintings a week on January 15, 2006 & haven't looked back! On the 2nd anniversary of my daily painting project, I decided to switch up my routine a bit & not limit myself to the 5x5 inch oil on paper format that I had followed for 829 paintings ... I will continue on with the square format, but will now work with different sizes, from 5x5 to 30x30. Each painting is available for sale directly from this site for 1 week & then it goes into my e-bay store. My daily commission pieces will continue to be 5x5 inch, oil on paper paintings, matted to a standard size of 11x14 for $75 plus $5 shipping.

This morning's
sunrise was so pretty ... I couldn't resist a 4th of
July sunrsie painting of one of my favorite views.
Come tonight the bay will be littered with boats
waiting for the fireworks to go off on the Eastern
Prom. My neighborhood is so festive on the 4th ...
it's defintely the place to be!
