My name is Elizabeth Fraser & I am a painter from Portland, Maine. I started doing 8 square paintings a week on January 15, 2006 & haven't looked back! On the 2nd anniversary of my daily painting project, I decided to switch up my routine a bit & not limit myself to the 5x5 inch oil on paper format that I had followed for 829 paintings ... I will continue on with the square format, but will now work with different sizes, from 5x5 to 30x30. Each painting is available for sale directly from this site for 1 week & then it goes into my e-bay store. My daily commission pieces will continue to be 5x5 inch, oil on paper paintings, matted to a standard size of 11x14 for $75 plus $5 shipping.

A Ride Through the Park • 5x5 • oil on canvas • $75

Deering Oaks Park is such a beautiful park. Our first
3 years in Portland we lived 2 blocks from it &
would walk the dogs there several times week. And of
course we still try to make it to the Farmer's Market
from time to time! Yesterday we rode our bikes
through the park & took in the scenery--here's a
view of the little bridge surrounded by gorgeous,
lush trees.
