Rolling Fog

Rolling Fog • 8×8 • oil on canvas • $115

I went out on a painting excursion last week & the fog was so dense along the coast, I really couldn’t see anything!  A blank canvas pretty much summed up my views.  I got to the Spurwink River & decided to stop & paint as I could make out the marsh & the river.  I didn’t like the painting I started that day, but I couldn’t shake the moody scene from my head, so I reworked that foggy marsh feeling in the studio … Voila!

Waves and Mountains

Mountains and Waves – 6×6 –  oil on canvas – $95.00

I was up in Vermont last week and the weather was pretty wild. The lake was rough everyday and the sky a little crazy. This was the closest I got to a nice day. Here’s the view of the choppy water, Butler’s island and the Green Mountains beyond. Always a magical place in any kind of weather!
